Heavenly Travel Log

Through many dangers

Toils and snares

We have already come

'Twas grace hath brought

Us safe thus far

And grace will lead us home

“Amazing Grace” John Newton

“Christ lives in me" (Galatians 2:20)

“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens:” (2 Corinthians 5:1)

When I was a small child, my Aunt Kay used to take me to “Travel Logs” at our local movie theatre. I used to love them. They introduced us to beautiful places around the world that we never envisioned going. They were interesting, educational and I got to have some popcorn and a drink. Lots of good memories.

We are about to embark on a travel log over the next few weeks. We won’t be travelling to some place in this world but to a place that is “out of this world” literally. It will be a journey that will be interesting, enlightening and full of surprises as to what we imagined would be there. It will be a time where we are, once again, reminded of the hope we have ahead and the glorious future we have as God’s children. Heaven will be our topic and our destination, so to speak!

So please join in the tour with me. Encourage others to take this “Travel Log” with us. Pray for me as I seek to unwind the beauty and truth God has given us about Heaven in His word. Looking forward to taking this journey with you, starting this Sunday, the Lord willing.

God bless you – Pastor Ralph

“Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes” (Revelation 7:15-17)
